It’s really important that you cover all pre-existing conditions on your travel insurance.
But what does that mean exactly?
If you’ve ever had a heart, or circulatory condition including high blood pressure, then you’ll always need to declare it on your travel insurance.
For everything else, we’ll need to know your medical history from the past two years. This includes anything where you’ve had symptoms, treatment, been prescribed medicine, or where you’ve attended consultations, investigations of check-ups.
Covering your pre-existing conditions is simple and straightforward. You can declare your conditions using our medical screening which can be completed either online or over the phone.
You can be covered for most travel destinations.
The only countries or areas we cannot provide cover to visit are where government bodies have advised against travel at the time of purchase.
You can buy a single trip policy from us up to 18 months before you travel and an annual policy 30 days in advance.
It’s worth booking your policy early to make sure you’re covered for cancellation - as leaving things till the last minute may mean that you’re not covered.
