If you’re from the UK, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands, we can cover you if you’ve booked and paid for a trip with 2 consecutive nights or more for a staycation to any of the following destinations:

• England
• Scotland
• Wales
• Northern Ireland
• Isle of Man
• The Channel Islands (Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney, Sark and Herm)

Yes, you can buy an Annual Multi-Trip policy for travelling within the UK only.

Yes, if you’re travelling to the Channel Islands (Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney, Sark and Herm), you can be covered if something on your trip doesn’t go to plan such as having to cancel your trip or cut it short, or losing money or belongings.

We can also cover you for up to £10,000 if you need to be flown home from your holiday destination after a medical emergency.

Emergency medical treatment in Guernsey
If you’re a UK resident travelling to Guernsey, the Bilateral Health Agreement can cover the cost of essential medical treatment.

Emergency medical treatment in Jersey
If you’re travelling to Jersey, you can get emergency medical treatment at the hospital free of charge, but any prescriptions, treatment or care needed after initial treatment may not be.

The NHS doesn’t cover you for emergency medical treatment in the Channel Islands (Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney, Sark and Herm), or the Isle of Man.

But there is a Reciprocal Healthcare Agreement in place between the UK, the Channel Islands and Isle of Man. This means that if you need emergency medical treatment while you’re on holiday, you won’t have to pay healthcare costs, as treatment is similar to that provided by the NHS.

UK travel insurance is not a legal requirement, but we think you’ll agree, it’s important to have. A good travel insurance policy can cover you for unexpected costs if something on your trip doesn’t go to plan – like needing to cancel or cut your holiday short.

COVID-19 cover is included with all domestic travel insurance policies at no extra cost.

We can cover you if you’re forced to cancel your trip due to vaccine intolerance, denied boarding with a positive test for COVID-19 or have a confirmed temperature above 38 degrees celsius.

To be covered, you will need to have had all of the COVID vaccinations that have been offered to you. If you’re medically exempt from having the COVID vaccination, you can also be covered by our policies. If you declined any doses of the vaccination through personal preference, or haven’t been able to have a dose you’ve been offered, you won’t be covered for any COVID-related claims.
