If you’re going to Morocco, Tunisia or Egypt, these destinations are classed under Europe when you’re buying your annual travel insurance. Most other African countries are covered under Worldwide for travel insurance.

If you can’t travel to Africa because of natural disasters, you’ll be covered for the cancellation of your holiday if the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office have issued a warning against all but essential travel because of natural disasters, such as a typhoon, hurricane or earthquake with any policy if this was an unforeseen event.
