If you’re going on a cruise , you’ll need to let us know when buying your policy to be covered properly for your trip. For that extra peace of mind, you can opt for our Cruise Plus add-on, which will cover you for cruise-related mishaps including missed port departures and interruptions to your cruise journey following injury or illness. Please note Cruise Plus cover is only available on Comprehensive and Signature policies.

The Caribbean is vulnerable to natural disasters, particularly hurricanes and tropical storms. Having the right travel insurance for the Caribbean can cover you if the area you’re travelling to experiences an earthquake, fire, flood, or hurricane that leads to the Government issuing advice against travelling there. Make sure you check the government's travel guidelines beforehand. Your travel insurance could be made invalid and you won’t be covered for cancellation if it was public knowledge that your destination was unsafe to travel to when buying your policy or holiday.
