As long as your safari activities were organised in the UK, you’ll be covered by our travel insurance.

To make sure it’s safe to travel to South Africa, check the FCDO’s travel advice before you set off and while you’re on holiday.

If the government advise against all but essential travel to South Africa, and you decide to travel against travel advice, your policy would become invalid and would no longer cover you if you needed to make a claim.

Most holidays to South Africa are completely trouble-free.

If the area you’re travelling to experiences an earthquake, fire, flood, or hurricane that leads to the government issuing advice against travelling there, then you’ll be covered to cancel with all of our policies as standard.
